Golden yellow colored wine; the nose is clear, intense and complex. Main aromas: citrus fruits (orange, tangerine), exotic fruits (passion fruit, ripe pineapple). Few floral notes (lily of the valley) and pinesap. Wonderfully rich, with good length and freshness.

A bouquet suggestive of fresh morning air, sun-dried hay, and crushed rocks. Radiant acidity and tones of lemon zest. Accompanied by a polished, well-articulated finish, this wine is a class act.  The grape stands out for its characteristic coppery pink colour. Vinification without the skins. Refined and elegant wine which stands out for its structure and body. The distinctive fragrance of fruit is also characterised by an aroma of dry hay. The taste is decisive, full and harmonious, yet dry and of great elegance.

2020 Adegas Gran Vinum ‘Mar de Vinas’ Albarino 35

Light yellow. Pungent aromas of orange skin, anise, salty minerals and jasmine. Sappy, finely etched orchard fruit and citrus flavors are braced by a chalky mineral quality and given depth by a subtle note of succulent herbs. A touch dry on the finish, with the salty note echoing.

2018 Tablas Creek Patelin de Tablas Blanc Paso Robles 60

Paso Robles, California

The Tablas Creek Vineyard Patelin de Tablas Blanc is a blend of five white Rhône varietals: Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and Clairette Blanche. The wine incorporates fruit from nine top Rhone vineyards in Paso Robles, each vineyard selected for its quality. Like many white wines from the Southern Rhône, it is based on the crisp acids and rich mouthfeel of Grenache Blanc, with Viognier added for floral, tropical aromatics, and small additions of Roussanne and Marsanne for structure

2020 Las Casas De Vaqueria Corral A18 Reserva Cabernet 35

Maule Valley, Chile

This Cabernet Sauvignon has an elegant red purplish color. In the nose, we can find fruits like plums, blackberries, and currants. There are also interesting herbaceous notes of mint and cloves. It has friendly tannins, creating an ideal balance, good structure and great finish in the mouth.

 

2018 Syrocco by Alain Graillot 50

Zenata, Morrocco

This North African Syrah may just be the dark horse of the Graillot portfolio, though it still delivers plenty of interest and value. For those new to this wine, it hails from the Atlantic ventilated hills of Morocco’s Zanata region in the lee of the spectacular Middle Atlas Mountains. The relatively cool climate and altitude here – and the mix of red and black clay over a base of limestone and ancient ocean-bed remnants – provide the right mix of conditions for scented, juicy, layered Syrah that Alain Graillot hopes will showcase the surprising potential of Morocco.

2017 Familia Mayol 38

Mendoza, Argentina

Intense red violet color. Medium-bodied Malbec. Cherry, mulberry and cassis linger with sweet toast aromas. Spice and mineral notes on a long and fresh finish. Good typical varietal character combined with earthy.

Blackberry, plums and boysenberry with sweet toast aromas. Fresh acidity keeps it mouthwateringly fresh. Sweet tannins blended with oak provide complexity and a velvety mouthfeel.

Early harvesting and high altitudes contribute toward making this a very elegant take on classic Mendoza Malbec. The palate still yields dark fruit,  baker’s chocolate, and star anise, yet none of the ‘chewy ‘ intensity typical of other Malbecs from the region.

Sonoma, California

Fermented and aged in an oak neutral process that preserves the fresh berry quality of the Pinot noir. The focus of aromatics is of Strawberries and cherries, with a

Californiaforest duff background. The flavors follow, and the finish is bright and smooth tannins. Enjoy as an aperitif, with seafood, pasta, or poultry

 

2018 Tablas Creek Patelin de Tablas Rouge Paso Robles 60

Paso Robles, California

The Tablas Creek Vineyard Patelin de Tablas is a blend of four red Rhône varietals: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Counoise. The wine incorporates fruit from several of the top Rhône vineyards in Paso Robles, each vineyard selected for its quality. Like many red wines from the Rhône Valley, it is based on the dark fruit, mineral and spice of Syrah, with the brightness and fresh acidity of Grenache, the structure and meatiness of Mourvèdre and a small addition of Counoise for complexity
